You Are My Witnesses

You Are My Witnesses

Our faith, steeped in love and devotion, calls us to live out our belief in every facet of our lives. Isaiah 43 tells us, "You are my witnesses," a powerful command echoing from the heavens. As witnesses, we are tasked to portray God's love, grace, and salvation in everything we do. In our daily lives, we often encounter difficulties. However, these moments of adversity are not meant to deter us, but rather, they are divine opportunities to display our unwavering faith and reliance on God's strength. Our witnessing doesn't just reflect in our successes, but shines even brighter in times of trials and tribulations.

Sanctified in Thy Truth: SET APART

Sanctified in Thy Truth: SET APART

We are called to be sanctified, set apart, and transformed from the world, not for our own gratification, but to serve as His vessels of goodness and mercy. As we journey towards becoming more like God, we are given the strength and wisdom to combat the forces of darkness. We are in the world, but not of the world, and that sets us apart. We are emboldened, protected, and driven by a force far greater than anything this world can throw at us. Remember, if God is for us, who can be against us?

Arise and Go in God's Purpose

Arise and Go In God's Purpose

This Sunday, we delved into a stirring message titled "Arise and Go In God's Purpose" at the Laborers for Christ Church. In a world so caught up in numbers, our church remains steadfast in measuring growth not by attendance, but by spiritual transformations within our congregants.

Our central scripture was Ephesians 3:10, which intertwines with the transformative story from Acts Chapter 9. This is where Saul's life took a drastic turn on the road to Damascus, becoming Paul and arising to fulfill God's purpose.

"Arise and Go"

The call to "arise and go" extends to each one of us, highlighting our need to move beyond just being saved to actively working for God. The story of Saul (later Paul) demonstrates this principle beautifully. Having been knocked down, Saul gets back up, not to continue in his old ways but to follow the path God has set for him.

Conviction and Surrender

A significant part of Sunday’s message centered on conviction and surrender. The Holy Spirit's job is to convict the world of sin, leading us to confront areas of our lives that need change. We were encouraged to welcome this conviction, surrender to God, and let Him take control.

Demonstrating God's Power

The power of God is meant to be demonstrated through us as believers. This power goes beyond resisting external forces; it empowers us to overcome internal battles as well. We discussed how our actions and decisions in the face of adversity can manifest the power of God.

Ministry of Deliverance

A key component of our sermon was the ministry of deliverance. Jesus came to set captives free, casting out demons and healing the sick. This ministry, often neglected, is an integral part of our calling as followers of Christ. As believers, we are tasked not just with making disciples but also with standing against the principalities of darkness.

Living in God's Purpose

The message culminated in a call to actively live in God's purpose, encouraging us to be bold and confident in carrying out God's assignment wherever we find ourselves. We were reminded that we're all seated in heavenly places with Christ, and wherever we go, we're to function in alignment with His purpose.

Remember, in our own strength, we will fail. But when we rely on the Holy Spirit, we step into a life of purpose, embracing God's call to "Arise and Go."

We look forward to seeing you next Sunday, where we will continue to explore the depths of God's word and His purpose for our lives.

Follow Me

Jesus invites us all to follow Him. The call is not just an invitation to belief but a profound call to action. It is a call to discipleship, to follow the path of righteousness, to embrace His teachings and embody them in our everyday lives. In the hustle and bustle of our modern lives, distractions abound. From social media to worldly ambitions, there are numerous things vying for our attention. However, we are urged to prioritize following Christ above all else.

When The Tables Turn

When The Tables Turn

The essence of our spiritual journey lies in the transformative power of divine intervention. By surrendering to God's will, inviting His presence into our spiritual realm, and accepting our divine calling, we partake in a transformative journey. This journey is symbolized by the biblical act of Jesus overturning the tables in the temple - an act of cleansing and restoration. Like those tables, we too are turned and transformed, not merely altering our habits but becoming beacons of God's grace. In this transformation, we are not just turning tables; we are turning our lives towards a higher, divine purpose.

Acknowledging Pentecost

Acknowledging Pentecost

As Laborers 4 Christ Church commemorated Pentecost, we were reminded of the pivotal role of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Central to the message was the 'authentic fire' - the spiritual purity and transformation we can attain through sincere surrender to God. Recognizing the Holy Spirit within us, we learned, is key to nurturing a deeper divine relationship. The powerful reminder of this day was to walk in the Spirit, resist carnal instincts, and thus, cultivate a spiritually fulfilling life.

The Journey

The Journey

In our recent Sunday Service, we explored the spiritual journey each one of us undertakes with God. As we navigate life's pathways, face roadblocks and detours, it's crucial to remember that God's guiding hand is always there, leading us towards the light. Our spiritual nourishment depends on God's Word, which strengthens us and prepares us for the journey. Even during our darkest moments in the valleys of life, we find comfort in His presence. Our ultimate goal? Discipleship, a calling we should embrace wholeheartedly. As we journey together, let's uphold each other in love and prayer, with the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ being our constant companion.
